Does it work with my car?

motiq works with any petrol or diesel vehicle made after 2006 with a standard OBD2 port — which covers almost every car sold in Australia. Select your make at checkout and we confirm compatibility before you order.

What's the concealed install cable for?

The optional Y-splitter cable ($29) lets you tuck the tracker completely out of sight behind the dash. This makes it harder for thieves to find and remove, and keeps the OBD port free so your mechanic can still plug in their scanner.

Can my mechanic still plug in their scanner?

Yes — with the optional Y-splitter cable installed, the diagnostic port remains fully accessible. Without it, the tracker occupies the port and would need to be unplugged for a scan.
